. Something very strange happened in the evening on December 8. Walking between the subway and my home - a 10-minute walk - I had an epiphany: a really great research idea. It might very well be the most novel and the very best research idea I've ever had. I woke up that night and had to spend an hour in a feverish state of creativity, exploring and developing the idea step by step while/by writing down notes in a document and simultaneously feeling intense joy over all the mini-discoveries and mine-breakthroughs I had while developing the idea in writing (notes). . I wrote a blog post about our new project course  DM2799 "Advanced Project Course in Media Technology" in mid-November. No less than 7 out of 19 project groups worked with sustainability-related topics and I supervised three of these groups. All groups presented their results on Tuesday December 19. In the course each group had to: 1) Conduct a small research project (defined by the faculty including our ph.d. students) 2) Write a project report (5 pages using the compact ACM paper format) 3) Present their project in front of an audience (15 minutes including a short questions-and-answer session) I will briefly describe the results of "my" three groups here 1. . I aim to publish a list of all (guest) lectures in the courses I give - like the recently-published list of guest lectures in my course on The Future of Work/Work of the Future . This time of the year (actually early December), I usually publish an invitation to the final presentation in the course Future of Media.  Here's last year's invitation  to the final presentation ("The Future of Computer Games/Computer Games of the Future"). I didn't this year because I for once agreed with the students to keep the final presentation small. This year's theme has been "The Future of Work/Work of the Future" and it is the very last time the course is given. I thought that was the case last year, but this time it really was the last time as the course has now been replaced by  another (project) course . . I have a chapter in this book and it's finally out! The just-published (2018 - go figure) book " Digital Technology and Sustainability : Engaging the Paradox " has been edited by Mike Hazas (Lancaster University, UK) and Lisa Nathan (University of British Columbia, Canada).  My chapter (chapter 9) is written together with my colleague Elina Eriksson (she's the first author) and it's called " On the Inherent Contradictions of Teaching Sustainability at a Technical University ". There are another 12 chapters in the book and I know the majority (but not all) of the other 20+ authors. The list of authors reads like a list of who's who in the world of Sustainable Human-Computer Interaction (SHCI). . I have taken a course during the autumn that is variously called " Leadership for associate professors " and " Management for associate professors ". The subtitle also somehow differs between " Tools for constructive communication and feedback " as well as " Tools for leadership and constructive communication ". The course ended almost four weeks ago but I just haven't had time to write about it until now! I have in fact worked so intensely lately that I haven't had time to write blog posts for the better part of a month because due to my work load.
